WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

Warranty

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of THP.  This Limited Warranty applies to only parts and services purchased from THP or its affiliates, hereafter collectively referred to as "THP." The Warranty Periods can be found on the invoice, circled by the technician.

What does the limited warranty cover?

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.

For the installation of a new garage door, this warranty only covers defects in workmanship and labor provided by THP.  The garage door manufacturer provides its own separate warranty on the door and its parts. For a repair to an existing garage door, this warranty will cover any defects in materials or workmanship for any new or rebuilt parts furnished by THP as part of the repair.

During the Warranty Period,

THP will repair or replace products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

What will we do to correct problems?

THP will either repair or replace the part, using new or refurbished replacement parts. Labor will be charged if this occurs outside the labor warranty period circled on the invoice sheet.

How long does the coverage last?

The Warranty Period for parts and services purchased from THP begins on the purchase date as indicated on the invoice. This warranty cannot be transferred.

A replacement part assumes the original part’s remaining warranty from the original date of purchase for the repair.

For repairs to an existing garage door, the warranty runs from the selected period of time as indicated on the invoice to as long as the original customer owns the repaired garage door. For a new garage door installation, the labor warranty continues for as long as the manufacturer’s warranty continues on the garage door. This warranty terminates if the original customer sells or no longer owns the repaired or new garage door.

What does this limited warranty not cover?

If anyone other than THP performs service work on any warranted part, then that part is no longer covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than THP or its affiliates.

This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damage or injury to a person or property, because a garage door did not operate properly. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty does not cover problems caused by abuse, misuse, civil disturbance, or Acts of God.
